Installation Guidelines

Proper installation is critical to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety and environmental standards:

Ventilation Requirements:
Install the generator in a well-ventilated area. Ensure sufficient air intake at the alternator end and proper exhaust airflow at the engine end. The outlet area should be at least 1.5 times larger than the radiator area.

Clean Environment:
Keep the installation site clean and free from corrosive gases such as acidic or alkaline vapors. Fire protection equipment is recommended.

Exhaust System Setup:
For indoor installations, the exhaust pipe must be directed outdoors. The pipe diameter should be larger than the muffler outlet, with no more than three bends to ensure smooth emission. Install the pipe with a 5–10° downward angle to prevent rainwater entry, or add a rain cap for vertical setups.

Foundation Requirements:
Use a concrete foundation and ensure it is level using a spirit level. Install anti-vibration pads or anchor bolts between the generator and the base.

Grounding Protection:
The generator casing must be properly grounded. Neutral grounding should be handled by professionals, and lightning protection devices should be installed. Do not use the utility grounding system directly.
